Life without a credit card really controls my impulse shopping. But it also puts a real damper on maintaining my business, since I have licence renewals and examinations coming up.
So classmates keep asking to borrow two of my students' pencils (ones I'd given them for Christmas), but never get them back. I know there are other issues, like being too nice and not having a backbone, but I saw a moment here

We aren't big on romance here. It's more of the little actions, like finding something cleaned up, or laundry done.
Still, it was nice to have a quiet dinner together - meaty pasta and soup with wine. Our schedules rarely allow us to eat meals together, and it's a big deal to me.
So after months of fruitless searching, I walk into my new favourite bookstore (used books, very cheap) and found a Chinese dictionary that had radical look up! I lost my original dictionary (from Taiwan) a long time ago, and it's suspected that my dad has it. Most dictionaries pinyin - you have to know the pronunciation of the character first, and
